At the High 5 Foundation, we believe every kid deserves the opportunity to play, compete, and feel like they belong—regardless of their circumstances.
What started as a simple idea has grown into a mission-driven organization focused on giving back to our community in meaningful ways. We are committed to supporting children and families by providing sports equipment to those who may not otherwise have access, and by contributing to causes that matter deeply—especially in the fight against childhood cancer.
Sports have the power to build confidence, create lifelong friendships, and teach lessons that go far beyond the game. Our goal is to remove barriers so more kids can experience those moments—the first time they step on a field, join a team, or simply feel included.
A major part of how we bring this mission to life is through the High 5 Classic, our annual golf tournament. This event has become a cornerstone of our foundation—bringing together community members, local businesses, and supporters for a day of connection, competition, and purpose. The High 5 Classic not only raises critical funds, but also builds awareness and strengthens the community around our cause.
Through the support of our sponsors, participants, and volunteers, events like the High 5 Classic allow us to turn generosity into real impact. Every dollar raised, every partnership formed, and every swing taken on the course helps us continue to grow and reach more kids in need.
We’re not just an organization—we’re a community built around positivity, opportunity, and giving kids a chance to be part of something bigger.
That’s what the High 5 Foundation is all about.

This is our favorite event of the year. Imagine having kids in sports and not having a way to pay for their equipment. This is where we come in. We raise money for kids who's parents cannot afford to pay for their sporting equipment. Scheels has been a tremendous partner in this. We do this a week before Christmas and it starts with milk and cookies. The event then goes on with each kid getting a $500 gift card to Scheels to spend it on the sports equipment that they need for the year. Scheels caps off the night with gifting these kids presents with something that they desperately need such as, jackets, hats, gloves, etc.... This is truly a great night for all!!!
